Welcome to the eilslabs

The eilslabs form a joint research group between the division "Theoretical Bioinformatics" at the German Cancer Research Center (dkfz) and the department Bioinformatics and Functional Genomics at the Institute of Pharmacy and Molecular Biotechnology (IPMB) at Heidelberg University. The group is headed by Prof. Roland Eils.

Indo German SymposiumThe first Indo-German Symposium on Systems Biology 2012 brings together a critical number of researchers from all over India and Germany to discuss their current research in order to enhance cooperation in research and teaching in areas such as Synthetic Biology, Infection Biology, Cancer Biology, Signal Transduction, Microarray, Drug design, and Metabolic Pathway Modeling. The symposium serves as platform for researchers with diverse disciplinary backgrounds - applied mathematics, statistics, physics, chemistry, and biology among others – to enable the exchange ideas and promote collaboration.

This event is organised by the School of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad, the Heidelberg Center South Asia and the BioQuant Center for Systems Biology, Heidelberg University. Roland Eils and Ulrike Conrad from the eilslabs have been organising this events together with the colleagues from the Heidelberg Center South Asia and colleagues from the University of Hyderabad.

The symposium will take place on November 27-29, 2012 at the University of Hyderadbad.
